M E T A

M E T A spielt in der Begegnung zwischen Tanz und kinetischer Skulptur mit dem Reiz des Unkontrollierbaren.  Das Schaffen und die Persönlichkeit des Schweizer Bildhauers Jean Tinguely liefern dafür den Ansatz: die Funktionalität der Objekte wird zugunsten einer unbändigen Bewegungslust über Bord geworfen.

M E T A is a cross-art project linking dance and kinetic sculpture. The works and the mind frame of the Swiss sculptor Jean Tinguely have been the point of departure for this creative journey. M E T A overcomes the aspect of functionality by creating a poetic and playful encounter between moving bodies and moving sculptures. It’s a get-together of different shapes, iterative patterns and slender yet massive values. The interaction of dancers and sculptures is shaped by curiosity, respect, courage and risk.
